Our Lineage: KLR, Lost Existence, High on Calcium

Every crew has a family tree. Ours runs through three names: King Library Rockers, Lost Existence, and High on Calcium.

King Library Rockers (SJSU)

KLR is where the foundation was laid — literally. Sessions at San José State built the habits that still define how we train: show up consistently, drill the basics past the point of boredom, and treat the cypher as the real test. The King Library sessions were open-door, and that openness is something we’ve carried into how we run our own.

Lost Existence

Lost Existence pushed the creative side — the idea that your rounds should look like you and nobody else. Character, musicality, and concepts over copy-paste move lists.

High on Calcium

High on Calcium brought the energy — the willingness to throw yourself at power and blowups, eat the slam, and get back up. That fearlessness is a big part of the crew’s DNA.

What we took from each

Foundation from KLR. Identity from Lost Existence. Fearlessness from High on Calcium. Banh Mi Boyz is the blend — and this site is the record of what we do with it.
